Summer’s gone, autumn is here and its my favorite season of the year! But unfortunately this autumn has found me very busy and with little time. It’s been ages since I had a blog update and I promised myself that I would get it done today! So here goes!

Aurelina means golden  in Latin. And golden she is. Shiny satin is embroidered with gold leaves which are also echoed in the sculpted glowing gold leaves that line the neckline, sleeves, and waist.  While the leaves lend  a fairy, elven, fantasy look, the dress is still a must for every medieval and formal wardrobe.The set includes a ball gown skirt , a slimmer version, and a short skirt made just for the fairy folk. It also features different sleeve options. The gown features rich, handpainted textures in a variety of shades from the bright colors of summer to the darker  earth colors of autumn.  It was available in a limited edition white , which I gave free with a buy 1 get 1 color free offer. It was very popular and only 1 white gown remains out of the 40 available.

As some of you may know, I was supposed to release a already long overdue ( due to computer issues) new release last week, however life never works out how its supposed to to! I went for a routine checkup last week and had to stay in the emergency room for 24 hours before I was admitted to the hospital for totally unrelated issues regarding a previous medical problem. So I have been in the hospital for a week now and just got out. It feels so good to finally be home ! Yey!! So I am a bit tired but all right now and I look forward to releasing a new gown soon after I have rested.  I have some big plans and events coming up for the fall so stay tuned !!!

While I work on some new releases it occurred to me to have a sale !  I hold megapack sales at regular intervals but this time I wanted to do something  a little different.  So I have decided to hold a sale on my single colors. Here are my latest releases. These are special nonprofit pieces made to benefit Relay For Life at Fashion Expo 2009 !

The first is a limited edition recolor of the Maelynn gown available only at the Fashion Expo 2009. Whether you are a elf, human or fairy you will look splendid when you don this dress. It has lovely graceful flex, rich handpainted textures, and a ton of options! So hurry and get it before monday!!

The second is a OOAK (one of a kind ) piece made for the silent auction. Only one copy of this gown will be sold in SL and the winning bidder will get the gown at the end of the auction. It has a ballgown skirt for formal events and a short empire style sundress with hat perfect for those summer strolls. The dress is a lovely shade of purple and decorated with flowers.

I chose these flowers to represent the story of cancer. It is a deadly disease that has killed many millions of people. While those people are gone, they and the love we have for them are never forgotten. The forget- me- not is a  sign of undying love. Irises have long been a symbol of hope. Though the pain, struggle and sadness that cancer brings one thing remains…. and that is HOPE!!! Hope for survival, hope for a cure !

Hi Everyone! I am participating in the Fashion Expo taking place this coming week. It is a wonderful shopping experience and it is to support a great cause- the fight against cancer ! I had two limited edition recolors and a one of a kind piece planned for the auction. These items will be available only at the Fashion Expo during its duration!

I was working the whole of the month of May and then BOOM! My laptops graphic card decides to blow out thus preventing me from logging on to SL graphically. I can use a non graphical viewer but I cant build or do any work with it. Due to this unexpected RL crisis, i will not be able to finish setting up my items until monday evening. My stuff should be ready for everyone by tuesday.

The new main store is open !

It was built by Katlin Shepherd , a dear friend who is currently taking a break from sl. She will be missed but never forgotten and hopefully will be back soon She is a wonderful builder and this store is no less. I wanted something magical near the ocean that was open, aesthetically pleasing and reflected my mermaid and elven roots .

She built a two story building suspended over the ocean and decorated with glass curly vines  which i adore , and a roof decorated with glass  flowers which is stunning under moonlight.  Lovely pillars decorate the sandstone walls and are topped with subtly glowing, swirling magical lanterns.  I added some of my own custom textures in addition to hers to make something truly unique. 

The left and right wings of the store open to decks over the ocean. The left deck is a 7 seas fishing area and a place where customers can unpack their boxes since I have build turned of in the store.  The right deck is a romantic dance deck where you can dance near the surf.

The ocean sorrounds the store and is visible through its transparent glass floor. Diving below, you find a whole new world as you are sorrunded by the colorful coral and tropical fish of the coral reef. 

All my mermaid vendors are underwater as well !!!

And in the sky accesible by a teleport board by the landing point is an arena and jousting list that are open to the public for responsible use.

The darkness of night begins to fade, replaced by brilliant hues of red, purple, orange. A breeze drifts by carrying the scent of wildflowers . The air begins to swirl and thicken and from it emerges a figure. She appears to be a maiden! no a fairy ! no a maiden ! It is hard to tell for she seems to take both forms! The figure moves and all around her the land starts to quicken, new buds blooming as she passes, new animals being born. Who is she? What is her purpose?

Eostre or Ostara is the Goddess of dawn, spring , and rebirth. As Eostre, she is the playful mischievous fairy reveling in the joy of spring. As Ostara, she appears as a maiden bearing a basket of colorful eggs and she and her magic companion a white rabbit would breathe life back into the earth after winter.

I decided to reflect both aspects of this Goddess in this two part gown set .There are gowns suitable for maidens as well as fairies. Each set contains several bodices, narrow, medium, wide skirts, and several sleeve options as well. Vines and flowers decorate white fabric in the first set and color fabric in the second set. The fairy petal skirts are common to both. Lovely wildflowers adorn the waist, head, and arms and whats more, they are all color changeable, so you can make it match any dress!!!

Each set is essentially a megapack with 6 color choices. However, i have decided to try some new things with this one. First, to add that sense of magic , i have made a swirling breeze with glowing pixie dust and petals that the user can wear. It is the magic you see in the pictures Second, all the flexi prims are texture changeable not color changeable. Thats right, they change texture! Say you have a red skirt, you can click it and select a different color texture on the menu that shows up. So you can fully customize these anyway you want. Heres a crazy colorful example. 

This release is divided into two parts. Part 1 is color fabric and Part 2 is white fabric. Ostara’s basket is sold separately and is the perfect accessory containing lovely spring flowers, eggs, a baby chick, and her magic white rabbit.
